Brazil still holds the title of the country with the most expensive iPhone in the world. But in 2022, Turkey took over as Apple released the latest iPhone 14 lineup.
Even though Brazil's iPhone prices are no longer considered the most expensive worldwide, it is still the worst place to purchase the new AirPods Pro 2.
Brazil's Expensive AirPods Pro 2
According to Nukeni, the prices that the giant tech company charges on its website for AirPods Pro 2 in each region include taxes. There are also different price tags in the US and Canada.
The tax rates depend on the place where you make the purchase.
According to 9to5Mac, the five cheapest places to buy the new AirPods Pro 2 are Hong Kong for $235.56, Taiwan for $242.67, Malaysia for $244.33, Thailand for $247.58, and the United States for $249.00.
On the other hand, the five places that you should avoid when buying the new AirPods Pro 2 are Brazil, since the device costs $504.87, India as it costs $337.70, Hungary as it costs $316.35, Denmark as it costs $310.52, and Poland as it costs $310.01.
There is a $160 difference between the cost of the AirPods Pro 2 in Brazil and India.
Even though Turkey now has the most expensive iPhone 14 models, the AirPods Pro 2 is sold in the country for $296.13, around $80 more expensive than in Hong Kong.
The device is now available for preorder, but it will be shipped on Sept. 23.
What to Expect from the AirPods Pro 2
The AirPods Pro 2 has the same stem and look as the 2019 models. There are also no new color options, as it is only available in white.
A new touch control sensor is placed on the stem of the device, which means you can now control the volume with a swipe up or down.
That is an addition to the current simpler tap controls for play, pause, and other controls. Its external design is largely unchanged since the important upgrades are on the inside.
According to MacWorld, the charging case can now charge from an Apple Watch puck. That is useful for those away from home or who want to reduce the clutter in their bags.
The case also includes a small speaker that allows you to play a location sound for Find My and to indicate audibly when the battery is low or when the device is charging.
AirPods Pro 2 has a higher and better battery life than their predecessors. They are rated for 6 hours of listening time, which is 33% more than on the first-gen AirPods Pro.
Apple now includes four sizes of ear tips, with a new extra-small tip added for better passive noise isolation.
But there are more significant improvements to active noise cancellation, which the giant tech claims are twice as effective as the previous model. This is due to the advanced computation of the new H2 chip and improved acoustic algorithms.
The device also has a new Adaptive Transparency feature that reacts to loud noises and automatically minimizes their intensity.
