The new law arrived while rumors regarding North Korea's alleged nuclear test preparations.

Many observers claimed that the country is planning to resume its nuke testings for the first time since 2017.

These claims started appearing when former U.S. President Donald Trump failed to persuade the North Korean leader to remove their nuclear defense weapons.

According to The Strait Times' latest report, the Supreme People's Assembly of North Korea passed the new law on Thursday, Sept. 8.

"The utmost significance of legislating nuclear weapons policy is to draw an irretrievable line so that there can be no bargaining over our nuclear weapon," said Kim Jong Un.

Before the new rule was approved, the North Korean government already considered itself a nuclear weapons country.

However, the latest policy aims to expand the use of nuclear technologies. This new law outlines when can an Asian country activate its nukes, such as to prevent an invasion or as a response to the attacks of other countries.

Based on these details, the new law will serve as a powerful legal guarantee that North Korea will remain a nuclear weapons state.

No More Nuclear Weapon Sharing?

CNN Edition reported that the new nuclear policy would also ban sharing nuclear technologies with other nations.

Since the law is quite serious, the Russian Foreign Ministry said it would closely monitor the military activities of the Asian country.

On the other hand, U.S. President Joe Biden said that he could talk with Kim Jong Un at any time at any place.
