USPS (U.S. Postal Service) announced its new stamp featuring the popular NASA James Webb Space Telescope. The independent announced its new product on Sept. 8.
The stamp's First Day of Issue ceremony was held at the Smithsonian's National Postal Museum, in Washington, D.C.
USPS Board of Governors Vice Chairman Anton Hajjar served as the dedicated official during the event, as reported by Space.Com.

According to USPS's official website, the new stamp was launched to celebrate the continued effort of NASA's James Webb Space Telescope.

"The James Webb Space Telescope orbits the sun about a million miles away from our planet. Now it will travel the United States mail system, with the launch of this new Forever stamp," said Hajjar.
He added that JWST is still sending astounding images of space. The official further shared that the giant space telescope is an engineering marvel decades in the making.
During the First Day of Issue ceremony, many NASA officials were also present.
These include NASA Associate Administrator Robert D. Cabana, NASA Webb Telescope Deputy Observatory Project Scientist Erin Smith, and NASA Webb Optical Telescope Element Manager Lee Feinberg.

USPS provides the exact image for its new JWST stamp. In the picture, the large mirror panels are seen.
But, instead of showing the yellow color of the mirrors, the USPS stamp's version reflects the stars and other bright space objects that the space telescope sees.
On the other hand, there's also the text "USA/FOREVER" at the left corner of the stamp. At the bottom right corner, you will see the text "Webb Space Telescope."
