According to a report by The Verge on Tuesday, Sept. 6, the alleged Apple Watch Pro case might be the biggest case among Apple smartwatches to arrive upon its launch.

Previously, a different leak pointed out that the size of the case would be between 47mm and 48mm. However, it turns out that the new rumor has a different take, indicating that it will have a 49mm size.

As a reference, the Apple Watch Series 7 sports various sizes for its cases, particularly at 41mm and 45mm. Meanwhile, the Series 8 variants are expected to have similar sizes to their predecessor model.

Having said that, the larger case could mean we could see a much wider display for the Apple Watch Pro. The report says that it could exceed two inches if the rumors are true about this wearable.

A bigger display will also indicate that users could see several on-screen health features they can use whenever they go. Particularly, fitness enthusiasts can find them useful since more stats will be shown on the screen.

Apple Watch Pro New Design

Per Macrumors's story, the Apple Watch Pro will reportedly boast a new design. The CAD images showed that this alleged smartwatch would have a 49mm case size, and it's the exact same thing that we have seen in another report from The Verge.

However, the difference this time is that we could see that the watch has a flat-screen. The physical button is also noticeable on the left side of the Apple Watch Pro. Mark Gurman, a tech journalist from Bloomberg, has confirmed that the design is the one that's previously touted on the rumored "Pro" watch.

The reporter has mentioned in the past that this Apple watch will have a screen that's "bigger than most wrists." Additionally, it will come with a huge battery and titanium casing.

Regarding its price, we expect it to be around $900 to $1,000. It could mean that the Cupertino giant is already preparing to unveil it to the public when the "Far Out Event" comes on Wednesday, Sept. 7.

At the same time, the iPhone maker is reportedly revealing the new Apple AirPods Pro 2 during a similar event, per Tech Times' report.
