Amazon Prime has just come out with three free games for its subscribers through its Prime Gaming. Prime Gaming is in direct competition with the Xbox Game Pass and PlayStation Plus.
Previous Titles Include 'GTA 5' and Other Popular Games
Prime Gaming is an offering by the service that is usually overlooked by a lot of subscribers. The gaming hub gives Prime subscribers numerous freebies, which include in-game content for numerous popular games, including "GTA 5," "Destiny 2," and even "Pokemon Go."
According to the story by Tom's Guide, Prime Gaming offers a wide selection of different free games that users will be able to keep forever once they have been claimed. The previous monthly lineups include some extremely popular games.
Prime Gaming is Adding Titles Like 'Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor'
In the past, Prime Gaming has offered "Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order" and "Dead Space 2." Now, Prime Gaming will be offering "Assassin's Creed: Origins," "Football Manager 2022," and even "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor" comes at a time when the "Rings of Power" series is launching.
The titles will reportedly be available to claim for the rest of the month. One of the games, "Assassin's Creed Origins," was originally released back in 2017 and was initially pitched as a soft reboot for the popular series.
'Assassin's Creed: Origins' is Being Listed for Free on Prime Gaming
The game is reportedly set in 49 BC Egypt where gamers get to play as Bayek, a person out for revenge that somehow stumbles into what was noted as a "millennia-long conflict" between the Templars and Assassins.
Origins is an open-world game that comes with multiple quests, chests, and loot. Most players regard the title as one of the best in the long-running series. The game is a prerequisite to another title called "Assassin's Creed Mirage," which is expected to be revealed soon.
'Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor' Comes at a Time 'Rings of Power' Releases
Another impressive title is "Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor," which is obviously based on the Lord of the Rings universe. The game, as noted by the article, is perfect for playing between watching the new "Rings of Power" episode on Prime Video.
The "Shadow of Mordor" game will reportedly go beyond just fighting faceless grunts. Instead, players will be able to build rivalries with the Orcs that they encounter.
