NASA Fixes Voyager-1 Glitch on AACS Module, Spacecraft Sends Garbled Signal Before

The Voyager 1 is one of the oldest spacecraft still continuing with its missions in space, but there are no plans to decommission the surveying technology of the outer part of the Solar System. NASA provided a fix to its recent glitch that sent different kinds of garbled transmission to Earth, with the team already claiming that it is not a problem anymore.

NASA is now assuring the public that the Voyager-1 spacecraft already saw its fix, with the team providing a solution to its previous problems that resulted from a glitch in its systems. The spacecraft's attitude articulation and control system (AACS), which keeps the antennas of the space probe pointed to the Earth, is one of the thoughts of problems from before.

The space agency said that apart from this glitch from the spacecraft, there are no other problems from the Voyager apart from the known hardware problem that it is still trying to pinpoint. Nevertheless, the spacecraft will resume normal operations like before, focusing on its probe of the Solar System and nearby regions for the Voyager.

NASA: Voyager 1 is in Good Health Now

According to Interesting Engineering, the team focused on commanding the AACS module to send its data to the correct computer that would receive and understand what it aims to deliver home. Moreover, now that this issue sees a fix, the spacecraft's overall condition is in good health, still continuing its probe for the world.

NASA's Voyager 1

The NASA Voyager 1 still has a critical mission appointed to the spacecraft, bringing many profound space discoveries for astronomers who wish to study more of the Solar System. While it has the purpose of looking into the edge of the Solar System, it can still be used for different discoveries in outer space, especially if it hears a faint humming sound out there.

Before, there were fears that the Voyager 1 was not in the Solar System anymore, with the old spacecraft drifting away from the region without any ways to track it as it faced significant problems back then. However, the spacecraft became responsive after some time and assured NASA and the team that it was still where it once was.

Now, its most recent problem is it lost communication for some time with the Voyager 1, apart from the signal it transmitted being full of garbled audio only, something that did not make sense for the team. The sketchy data the team got before is now something they understand to be a part of the glitch of one module, with speculations of faulty hardware.
