A Warner Bros. trademark filing is starting speculations over the Bugs Bunny meme character Big Chungus potentially coming to the "MultiVersus." As Warner Bros. is slowly adding more and more characters, it seems like Big Chungus could be next.
Big Chungus Could be Coming to 'MultiVersus' Game
According to the story by App Trigger, Big Chungus is the meme version of Bugs Bunny which is a chunkier version of the cartoon character that comes with other meme attributes. The article notes that the meme character could come to "MultiVersus" but this is still based on speculation.
It was noted that the speculation started with Warner Bros. filing a trademark regarding Big Chungus. This was easily picked up by fans noting this could mean the addition of the meme character to the game.

As per a tweet by Andrew Marmo, "Warner Bros. trademark Big Chungus for use of a video game" with screenshots of what the trademark looked like and what the Big Chungus character looked like.
Big Chungus Appeared in Other Previous Video Games
This, however, is not the first time that Big Chungus has been shown in video games. The meme character can already be seen in the "Looney Tunes: World of Mayhem" mobile game.
The article by App Trigger notes that Big Chungus popping up in the "MultiVersus" game is not that surprising. Should Big Chungus really make its way to the "MiultiVersus" the article notes that it would be interesting to see if he would be either an alternative skin for Bugs Bunny or an actual playable character.
The First Time Big Chungus Made an Appearance was in December 1941
Either way, the publication notes that the addition of the meme rabbit would still be a fun addition to the game. For those that are still unfamiliar with the character, Big Chungus is what was described as an "overweight version of Bugs Bunny."
The larger version of Bugs Bunny can be seen in the "Wabbit Twouble" cartoon for Merrie Melodies/Looney Tunes, which was initially debuted back in December 1941. As seen in the cartoon, Bugs Bunny actually makes fun of Elmer Fudd, who was also shown larger than his iconic design.

Big Chungus Started to Become a Popular Meme in 2017
Despite being an old character, it was not until 2017 that Big Chungus started to really become a popular meme with his character being used for different purposes. "MultiVersus" is reportedly still in the midst of its "first official season which went live on August 15.
Another interesting addition was Morty Smith from Rick and Morty with Rick Sanchez expected to come to the game later on. There are reportedly also plans to add both Stripe and Black Adam to the "MultiVersus" game come Season 1.
