New baseball pitching machines are now helping MLB pros to hone their skills. Since these technologies rely on artificial intelligence, advanced robotics features, and other functionalities, they are proven quite effective.
For the past few years, sports have evolved to train professional athletes and players. Before AI and other technologies were used for physical training, many people relied on old methods.
These include running in the mountains, jumping jacks in pools, and other similar activities. Now that artificial intelligence and other machines are involved, players can conduct intense training, even at the premises of their designated gyms and other training centers.

The official website of the robot's developer, Trajekt Sports, said that seven MLB teams already experienced improved batter performance after using the machine.
This AI-powered training tech can mimic various players, such as Madison Bumgarner, during practices. It can adjust the projected player's left or right arm to connect in its hole, which releases the baseball ball efficiently.
"The first pitching machine to accurately impart gyro spin on the ball. But...there's more...The Arc can control the input ball orientation, which when combined with 3D spin," said Trajekt Sports.
Trajekt Arc Partnered With Rapsodo Pro
While Trajeckt Arc is being used by seven MLB teams, the St. Louis-based sports data firm, Rapsodo, said that all the 30 professional baseball groups use its services and systems.
The advanced Rapsodo PRO 3.0 can measure the pitches, providing real-time feedback to the Trajekt Arc. This will allow baseball players and their coaches to compare the desired metrics with the measured ones.
With the use of Trajekt Arc and Rapsodo PRO 3.0, MLB teams can track their improvements, allowing them to perform better before official games.
