Google Play Games Beta PC Specs Minimum Requirement
Google has reportedly also decreased the minimum PC requirements in order to use the feature. This would then open up the application for users that are still stuck with PCs with older specs.
The minimum PC requirements for the Google Play Games beta are a CPU with at least 4 physical cores, an Intel UHD Graphics 630 GPU or other comparable graphics card, a Windows 10 or 11 operating system, 8GB of RAM, and at least 10GB of SSD storage.
Initial Announcement for the Application was First Revealed in December 2021
The initial announcement for Google's new gaming feature was first revealed back in December 2021. The application is designed to help users seamlessly shift between playing Android games on their mobile to finally being able to play them on the PC.
The technology used is reportedly the same as the ones being used on Android phones, tablets, and even Chromebooks. Apple devices, however, will not be able to use the Google Play Games application.
BlueStack is Another Alternative for Google Play Games
Google Play Games users will also be getting Google Play Points which can be exchanged for items and subscriptions in-app. Android players used to utilize certain applications like BlueStack in order to run Android games on the PC.
Google has decided that instead of users having to emulate games on the computer, they will be helping players access different Android games through the Google Play Games application. Instead of needing a third-party application, users can gain access to Android titles through the Google Play Games right away.
