A YouTube content creator spoke out against the video streaming platform regarding its "racism and favoritism," which is already a significant problem among those using the application. Cory Kenshin brought his complaints against YouTube in his recent post via the platform, claiming that it puts unlawful restrictions on the platform but is only applicable for his video.
Content Creator Cory Kenshin Says YouTube has Racism and Favoritism
Cory Kenshin went to YouTube and brought out his frustrations on the video streaming platform, and it is because of the company's actions against the content creator on one of his videos before. Kenshin said in his video that YouTube is either playing favorites or has racism among its content generation or a "mix of both."
According to DotEsports, Kenshin said that there was a significant incident that made him react this way against the streaming platform, focusing on an unlawful age restriction on his previous upload. Kenshin's playthrough of "The Mortuary Assistant" requires age verification, and it is not something that other content creators faced on their version of the video.

Kenshin then said in his video that "YouTube really, in general, doesn't care about Black people."
The age restriction is one thing, especially as it puts this over Kenshin's video that is a different experience for other creators, with the streamer still trying to maintain his calmness while explaining. Nevertheless, he felt that there was a form of racism with the restriction against his upload compared to others.
YouTube's Content Generation for the Public
YouTube is a known platform that brings much content for the public to consume, and despite its many users available now, it is seeing a drop in its use due to TikTok and other platforms' significance online. It saw significant changes due to the prominence of different platforms in the market, bringing a new experience than the one the public is used to seeing on YouTube.
There was also one problem in YouTube's content generation before where a famous streamer, "LoFi Girl," had a false copyright claim presented against the channel and had its video taken down. However, after proving that there were no copyright problems with its stream, the company brought back the video that ended its 2-year stream.
Now, it is facing another claim from a content creator that says it has favoritism and racism in its content generation, especially with the recent incident regarding a particular video. Kenshin's complaint is still available for people to listen to via the platform and understand where the content creator is coming from, especially with his claims against the platform.
