They began their electronics journey with media & audio players in 2004 and it quickly became one of the top3 MP3 manufacturers in China thanks to its excellent pricing strategy and product innovation ability in 2006.

In 2009,CHUWI become a strategic partner of Rockchip and enter the tablet OEM market.

Chuwi Start to expand overseas markets in 2014 and Set up professional operation teams such as Amazon, Aliexpress, Wish, eBay, and build local warehouses in the US and Europe.

Chuwi built 6 oversea service centers in 2016 and CHUWI product became the top selling products on Gearbest, banggood and  Aliexpress.

It become the one of most popular Innovative Brands on Indiegogo in 2017, Over 200 overseas brand stores were built around the world.

In 2018, chuwi won the title of national high-tech enterprise; debuted Intel KABYLAKE-G series processor MINI PC HiGame and entered the Mini PC market.

In 2019, chuwi explores more e-commerce channels: Linio and MercadoLibre in South America; Allegro and Cdiscount in Europe.

In 2020, CHUWI brand ranked in the top 10 of tablet category in many countries such as Italy, Germany, Spain, France, Japan and Russia.

Chuwi had it's first crowdfunding in 2017 where it raised USD 1.5 million. As soon as 2019, its annual turnover crossed USD 100 million. In another two years, the company stood at USD 497 million annual revenue. They hit another milestone in the same year by reaching a total of 1,819,000 devices sold. 

Chuwi's revenue distribution has also changed. Now around 71% of its revenue is generated through tablets, 21% from laptops and 8% from mini-PCs. It should be noted that just 5 years ago, tablets were the only product line offered by Chuwi. 

As of now, Chuwi has retail stores in China, Greece, Italy, Slovenia, Bangladesh, Yemen, Iran & Ukraine. 

Chuwi claims to have served 100 million users combined through the Chuwi products sold directly to consumers as well as it's business customers & partners. 

Chuwi ranks among the top 5 selling brands across the Ecommerce retail regions and receives as many as 2 million monthly active users on its websites and platforms. 

Chuwi has become a recognized manufacturing and strategic partner for brands like MediaTek, Dixons, Toshiba, Samsung, intel, Microsoft, Huawei, and Google.

Products Now & Beyond:

In 2019 Chuwi launched its first Ultra-Mobile PC (UMPC) called the MiniBook and crowdfunded over $1.5 million on IndieGoGo, Makuake, and Wadiz platforms; accumulating over 8,000 backers and becoming a major force in the handheld market.

In 2020 Chuwi launched the LarkBox, which influenced the Mini PC market, with a crowdfunding amount of over $1 million and over 7800 backers, making it the highest crowdfunded project in terms of amount & participants in this category on Indiegogo. This innovated format of Mini PC also attracted numerous imitators, ultimately igniting the low-power Mini PC market.

In 2021 Chuwi launched its flagship notebook CoreBook X, responding to Microsoft's proposal of a 3:2 productivity screen and jointly building a Windows office ecosystem. With excellent screen quality and performance, it received unanimous praise from users , with shipments of a single model reaching 100,000 units, making it the key product model in the 3:2 notebook market.

In 2022 Chuwi launched the MiniBook X, the world's first hole-punch screen notebook, serving as another push to limits of notebook screens and garnered countless media coverage. The product form factor incorporates the Yoga polymorphic design and uses the latest generation Intel Jasper Lake N5100 processor, positioning it as a prime workplace alternative.
