Tesla Gigafactory Texas gains a new "cyber helipad," a recent drone video showcasing the massive facility of the electric vehicle (EV) maker.
The latest drone video also showed another new sighting at the Tesla factory, giving us a glimpse of the new Cybertruck-themed planters lined up near the new helipad.
Tesla Giga Texas 'Cyber Helipad'
As per a recent news story by Teslarati, the Twitter user that goes by the name Jeff Roberts shared a new 4K drone video that features the Giga Texas from above.
Roberts shared his latest drone flyover at the Giga Texas, highlighting a bunch of new developments at the said Tesla facility.
On top of that, Roberts got a bit specific with the new sightings at the Giga Texas.
He noted in his recent tweet of some of the new drone images that there are white Tesla Model Y compact crossovers parked at the parking lot of the auto factory.
Teslarati says in its report that the Model Y EVs at the parking lot are sure interesting to point out.
But what really stood out in the recent drone shots is what seems to be a new helipad at the parking lot of the Giga Texas.
One Twitter user that goes by the username tonymartie responded to the tweet of Roberts, suggesting that it could be a SpaceX rocket landing pad.
However, most users believe it is rather a helipad, which Roberts aptly dubs the "Cyber Helipad."
It is worth noting that recent rumors have speculated that the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Tesla, Elon Musk, is working on a private airport in Texas.
But the ultra-rich founder of the EV maker begged to disagree, dispelling such rumors.
He went on to say that "Tesla is 5 minutes from Austin International Airport." And as such, the big boss of the automaker found it silly "to build another private airport" just a few miles from it.
It turns out that what Tesla appears to be working on is actually a helipad within its Gigafactory in Austin.

Tesla Giga Helipad vs. Drones
While Musk and his high-profile guests are highly likely to benefit from a helipad, it might be bad news to drone operators who shoot the Giga Texas for the latest updates.
According to a recent report by Tesla North, Roberts states that the FAA prevents drone operators near the vicinity of a helipad.
So once the new "Cyber Helipad" starts operating, we might see fewer drone shots from Giga Texas.
