On Wednesday, Aug. 17, Logitech introduced a new audio solution specifically created for the Meta Quest 2. The audio solution is called Chorus.

The company said it could deliver a new level of immersive, ultra-realistic audio.

Logitech Releases Chorus

According to Engadget, Chorus features rotating speakers and an open-back form factor that allows ambient sounds. It was created to slide onto the Quest 2's headset strap until the speakers are positioned over your ears.

In fact, the headset will make the VR device look similar to the Valve Index, which comes with two near-field speakers after installation.

According to The Verge, the Chorus is compatible with both the stock strap the Meta Quest 2 ships with and Meta's Elite strap.

The company said that Chorus' big open-back audio drivers ensure you can hear both "massive moments and the smallest details."

While the add-on is not an original part of the Meta Quest 2, it is meant to stay in place instead of being removed after every single use.

It connects to the headset's USB-C port and draws power from the Meta Quest 2 itself, but since it was created to stay plugged in the entire time, it has a USB-C passthrough.

That means that you can keep the headset charged or can connect other devices to it while Chorus is also plugged in.

The Verge noted that Chorus has little noise isolation and is not the best choice for those who want privacy while watching movies or exploring new experiences in VR.

Logitech's head of AR/VR, Vadim Kogan, said that Chorus enhances the fit and comfort of Meta Quest 2, while allowing those who "love long play sessions" to stay immersed in their favorite games and experiences through the audio integration in a fit and comfortable design created for the VR gamer.

Chorus will soon be available from Logitech's website, Amazon's website, and other retailers for only $100.

Wireless Gaming Keyboard

Aside from the headset, the company also released a wireless gaming keyboard. The Logitech G715 gaming keyboard is Logitech's wireless option within the new Aurora series.

The peripheral designs in this collection are based around a beautiful and dreamy aesthetic, with customization and inclusivity at their core.

Much like the company's Color Collection, the designs move away from stark black shells and invite more customization with options in their pastel colorway, according to PC Gamer.

There is a lot to like when it comes to the low-key vibes of G715. It has great Bluetooth and wireless connection, amazing media controls, and excellent all-over build quality.

The company has also run with an amazing bubbly aesthetic, opting for rounded everything, as well as large gaps between the keys for those typing with talons.

Users are actively encouraged to express themselves by mixing and matching the funky face plates and keycaps on offer. The color options are the same across the collection.

You can choose between White Mist, Green Flash, and Pink Dawn.

The white base keyboard comes in at $200, but if you want it to look anything like the ad material, you have to shell out an extra $20 for a magnetic, replaceable top plate.
