PlayStation for the PC may be coming soon as reports are now swarming regarding Sony's latest venture to create a new games launcher for the different platforms. It will bring a somewhat port for the games from the famous Japanese gaming console with its availability to transition to computers without the need for the console connected to the display.
PlayStation for PC: Sony to Make Games Launcher?
Video Games Chronicle took it upon their hands to inspect the files of the new "Marvel's Spider-Man" remastered for PC, and here, it found a reference to a "PlayStation PC Launcher" in it. Instead of relying mostly on different platforms to launch the game for the public like with Valve's Steam and the Epic Games Launcher, it will have a Sony-made games platform for the PC.
Additional files found in the investigation include "PSNAccountLinked" and "PSNLinkingEntitlements," with Sony not yet offering this for gamers in the current titles available for the PC.
Nevertheless, this will be a direct launcher from the Japanese multimedia conglomerate for their future releases for the PC, should the company re-release more titles from the PlayStation.

Sony PlayStation for PC: Games Direct Port
According to IGN, this new Sony PlayStation games launcher for the PC may be a direct port for the titles that the company makes available for the new platform. Instead of having it available via other companies' launchers, Sony may be creating a new gateway for PlayStation games to arrive for PCs, purchasing them, and launching them on its application for computers.
PlayStation Taking a Page from Xbox?
PlayStation is famous for featuring different titles and games that are available on the console only, and it comes as PS exclusives or those also available for other platforms. However, it recently brought the world different PC re-releases that bring the famous exclusive titles available for computers, with one example being the "Marvel's Spider-Man" remastered for PCs.
Additionally, it brought the famous title "God of War" from the PS4 and 2018 release to the PC platform as well, giving the public another Game of the Year awardee available for a different platform. It is a different move for Sony as it brought significant changes to its previous exclusive offers, now available in other setups.
It is like what Microsoft made available for Xbox, as it also brings famous console titles available for the PC platform, particularly that of Windows.
Now, some speculations and rumors surround Sony and the PlayStation regarding their new PC games launcher that would bring the titles that the company worked on for a re-release on a new platform. It may be a leak now, but it is something that is promising for both PlayStation and PC gamers that want a new setup apart from the console experience before.
