According to a report by Electrek, V13 contains a large capacity battery and delivers a 3,024-watt-hour battery pack. This operates at an extremely high system voltage of 126 volts with the peak power output at 10,000 watts, 13.3 hp. Because of this strength, the unicycle can reach a wheel life speed of 140 km/h or 87 mph.

Specs of the V13 Challenger

Comparing it to the other unicycles in the market, it is much higher and faster. The maximum speed can be obtained when the V13 Challenger is lifted into the air with an actual operational top speed of 90-100 km/h or 55-60 mph.

To keep the users' security and safety as the speed of this unicycle are dangerous as ever by basing on the numbers mentioned above, V13 has a 90mm of suspension travel which helps the riders to be more safe than usual when hitting bumps at high speeds based on article by Lomfik.

This also includes a touchscreen for its selecting options, charging ports both for USB-A and USB C, an 18-watt front headlight and a 1-watt rear light, and a rolling handle for the user when the whole unicycle is in idle mode.

Size and Pricing

The rim size of this is 17" inches and its tire is 22". For this much inclusion, the whole unicycle weighs 50kg. InMotion V13 Challenger is now available for pre-order with a discount of $3,999. Originally, this will be on sale in the market for $4,600.

Comparing V13 Challenger to Previous Models

From the 1750Wh and 100V battery of the V12, the new model improves much more by adding 1,024Wh and 26V. The top speed was also reduced from 41-43.5mph to 87mph.

Despite the huge difference, V11 was described as 'among a class of exceedingly high power models. Its specs are 3,000 watts of battery and a 72 volts nominal 1.42kWh battery that provides 90 kilometers at 32 kilometers per hour.

Unicycles as the New Motorcycles?

The specs and speed of these unicycles are impressive considering their size and how compact it is. Based on an article released by Electrek in 2020, users don't get 'motorbike-level speeds' to these.

With the convenience that the unicycle is giving to people like portability and financially wise, motorcycles are still supported then these as this mode of transportation is still new to people and it takes a while to learn for the riders.

Just this year, Harvey-Davidson Del Mar S2 Electric Motorcycle only lasted for 18 minutes before it sold out and appeared to be a 'rider's favorite' last May. The bike's base model costs $15,000 while the Del Mar costs $17,700.
