LG Display unveiled its new 97-inch OLED EX TV. This new panel is considered to be the largest model that the tech giant firm developed.
The Korean manufacturer announced this new technology on Aug. 10.
LG Display confirmed that the giant TV screen would be demonstrated during the K-Display 2022, the Korea Display Industry Association's most extensive display exhibition.
KDIA's event will take place in Seoul, Korea, between Aug. 10 and Aug. 12.
"Under the slogan of 'A city inspired by OLED,' LG Display will unveil its visionary city of the future and unprecedented experiences," said LG Display via its official press release.

According to The Verge's latest report, this new TV screen will feature the so-called CSO (Cinematic Sound OLED); a special thin film.
LG Display explained that CSO would allow the OLED EX panel to vibrate and generate sound directly from the TV's display.
It can do this even without speakers, offering a better cinematic experience to the users. Specifically, OLED EX can produce 5.1 audio.
Critics said this is quite unbelievable since the sound will come from the actual display.
Aside from CSO, the new OLED EX panel is also integrated with LG Display's advanced OLED EX technology, one of the major features of other next-gen OLED panel models.
