OnePlus is now making OxygenOS 13 open beta available to OnePlus10 Pro users. This fourth beta is reportedly based on Android 13. The announcement came after it became accessible to Samsung Galaxy S22 series.
OxygenOS 13 Beta is Rolling Out to OnePlus10 Pro
According to a report by Android Central on Tuesday, Aug. 10, the open beta for OxygenOS 13 is now available for download. If you are an owner of the OnePlus10 Pro, you can use it as early as now, but you should be mindful that since it's still in beta, bugs and other issues might arise.
Unfortunately, not all OnePlus10 Pro owners will be able to access this beta in the meantime. As of writing, those users who live in North America and India will be the only early testers of this software.
Last week, the smartphone maker released OnePlus 10T along with major software upgrades that users should look forward to. The design of this handset is similar to what we regularly see from OPPO's ColorOS.
Don't expect that the updates will be smooth on OxygenOS 13 beta. You can encounter several glitches, including blurry shots during Ultra Dark Mode and some system bugs.
OnePlus 10 Pro will be the first OnePlus flagship to benefit from this update, but it is expected that the open beta will also be available to OnePlus 8 and 9 lineups soon.

For those who are concerned with digital wellbeing, OxygenOS 13 beta has now included "Kids Space" for young users. This specific feature will give them reminders about ambient lighting, screen time limit, and how they could protect their eyes when using a smartphone.
Furthermore, the update also brings notable privacy and safety features for the users. As such, the regular clearing of clipboard data was added, as well as the automatic pixelation feature. The latter is useful when identifying someone's name and picture in a screenshot.
Additionally, there's also a Private Safe optimization. Aside from that, added encryption is now effective for your private files, so you don't have to worry anymore about their safety.
Other than that, there are other changes when it comes to design, efficiency, personalization, and seamless interconnection. Some of which include Quantum Animation Engine 4.0 improvement, optimized fonts, media playback control, optimized Shelf, Bitmoji upgrades, earphone connectivity enhancement, and more.
