Google Stadia has released a new feature called the "Party Stream" system that will allow users to stream more easily on other platforms like YouTube. The new feature reportedly brings "several new quality of life features to the users of the platform."
Google Stadia Adds New Features to Help Improve Streaming Experience
According to the story by Tech Raptor, Google Stadia is already popular for its seamless streaming features. The new update is expected to make streaming much easier and "more manageable" compared to before.
Whether users are streaming their games for just a few friends or for the general public, the update will make it easier for gamers to "swap seamlessly" between games or from devices without needing to stop the stream.
New Update Allows Players to Switch Games Without Closing the Stream
As detailed by Tech Raptor, Google Stadia couldn't keep up with how streamers wanted to stream their content through Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, or other services like Bandicam or OBS. Users weren't able to continue the stream when they switched games or devices resulting in a potential loss of viewer count.
The new update reportedly fixes this problem and allows gamers to play different games in one stream without having to disable the stream should they want to switch. There will be a pop-up that shows when users switch devices asking them if they still want to continue the stream from another device.
Google Stadia Update Includes the Party Stream Feature
Although the change might be small for some, this could be a huge feature for streamers on Google Stadia that often play multiple games or have to switch from one device to another. Users will be able to stream from any device they want without needing to lose viewers.
The Party Stream feature is also being included with the new Google Stadia Update which allows users to share their progress with closest friends up to nine people. This way, close friends and family can see players through a more intimate setting instead of on a large platform.

Party Stream Feature Allows Up to Ten Participants
The Party Stream feature, as further detailed by Stadia Source, also consists of other players and not just viewers meaning streamers can easily play with up to four friends or hang out with up to five friends and watch boss fights, PVPs, or whatever the topic of the stream is.
As for the limits, there can only be ten people in total in the Party Stream at the same time. This can be a mix of players and viewers but will only add up to just ten at a time.
Spectators will also be able to access the voice chat and emojis feature in order to become more engaged with the gameplay. The original streamers will also see who wants to join the stream or send chats through notifications.
