Blizzard has released an outline regarding its content release strategy for one of its most popular games, "Diablo Immortal." The new outline includes plans to launch brand new content updates continuously every two weeks.
Blizzard is Releasing Mini and Major Updates
In an official blog post by Blizzard, the studio notes that they will come in two different forms. The two different forms will be "mini updates" and "major updates.
The new "mini updates" will reportedly include the Battle Pass season, in-game events, as well as some other feature updates. These types of changes can be referred to as more routinary and are often being done by other games as well.
Updates Could be Released the Moment it Reaches the Right State of Quality
The "major updates," on the other hand, will continue to bring new content as a new gameplay feature. This includes free storyline expansions for players to enjoy a more immersive side of the game as it evolves.
According to the story by Video Games Chronicle, Blizzard announced that all content that was mentioned is not mutually exclusive to just the mini or major content update. Sometimes, the updates could be released the moment it reaches the right state of quality for the gamers.
'Diablo Immortal' Free Version of Battle Pass Offerings
As per "Diablo Immortal" on Twitter, the new season 3 is expected to arrive soon, including the Aspect of Justice Cosmetic and Wrathborne Invasion. The article by Video Game Chronicles noted that the third season of the game is expected to launch on August 4 at 3 AM server time.
The free version of the Battle Pass will be including 40 different ranks worth of challenges as well as rewards. This will bring Legendary Gems, Crests, and even Hilts.
Two Different Paid Versions will be Available for Gamers
There will be two different types of paid versions to release for the Season 3 Battle Pass players. These two versions will be the Empowered Battle Pass as well as the Collector's Empowered Battle Pass.
The former notably includes all rank rewards that are also offered in the free Battle Pass but will also help unlock an Empowered track that will bring new rewards for every rank.

Collector's Empowered Battle Pass Offerings
Those that decide to purchase the Battle Pass will also be able to unlock the Aspect of Justice Weapon cosmetic as soon as they hit rank one and even get the chance to get the Aspect of Justice Armor cosmetic as soon as they reach rank 40.
The Collector's Empowered Battle Pass will be including all different rank rewards and cosmetics that are available from Empowered one along with the Aspect of Justice Avatar Frame, Portal cosmetic as well as a ten-rank boost which will be available for purchasers immediately.
