Apple Watch Series 3: Is It Still Worth Getting?
To be frank, it has been several years since the Apple Watch 3 debuted in 2017. But do not underestimate it as Apple products tend to last for quite some time, thanks to its long software support.
In fact, Tech Radar notes in the same report that the Apple Watch Series 3 is now the longest-serving smart wearable from the Cupertino-based tech giant.
To put it in context, the Series 3 is like the iPhone 6s, which got support for a total of seven years.
The Apple Watch still runs the latest watchOS 8.7, which brings handy features, such as health-related functions like sleep tracking.
Besides that, the Apple Watch 3 flaunts an OLED Retina display, which goes as high as 1,000 nits of brightness, still adequate for modern-day light usage, according to a report by Apple Insider.
The news outlet notes that the Apple Watch 3 remains on the shelves of the Cupertino-based tech giant even if five years have passed since it first saw the light of day.
And as such, the Series 3 has become the go-to budget option for most customers.
Interestingly, Apple offers a newer budget variant for the wearables, none other than the Apple Watch SE. But despite that, the iPhone maker still retained the Series 3.
