A new Israel-based Apple plant will soon open. This development facility is expected to focus on designing next-gen Mac chipsets.
The iPhone maker is still trying to replace SoCs (system on chips) manufactured by Intel and other tech firms.
Its first step to do this was launching its in-house M1 chip, which the more advanced M2 model followed.
An Apple employee claimed that the gadget creator plans to open a new facility in Israel.
New Israel-Based Apple Plant To Develop Future Mac Chips?
As of writing, Apple hasn't confirmed opening its new development site in Israel. But, Elad Wertheimer, an Apple talent sourcing expert, claimed that there would really be one.

He said that the new plant would specifically be located in Jerusalem.
"The site will take part in the flagship projects we are leading from Israel, chief among them the development of the future Mac processors," said Wertheimer via his official LinkedIn account.
He added that he is already recruiting engineers that can work on Apple's next-gen Macintosh SoCs.
The Apple staff added that interested applicants could message him via his official email address, which is provided on his LinkedIn profile.
In the comment section, many individuals are asking about the exact launch date of the new development site. However, Elad didn't provide the exact schedule.
Existing Israel-Based Apple Facilities
According to MacRumors' latest report, Apple already has two research and development facilities in Israel. These plants are located in Haifa and Herzliya.
As of press time, Apple already has 2,000 employees working on the said sites.
Apple's Hardware Technologies Senior Vice President Johny Srouji said that the tech firm uses Israeli development to manage and streamline the data storage tech in range gadgets.
These include integrated circuits as well as wireless communication components. The Israel-based Apple plants were a great help in designing M1 premium versions, such as M1 Max and M1 Pro.
Meanwhile, China's iPhone sales previously experienced drastic increases after the country's COVID-19 lockdown eased.
Recently, Ming-Chi Kuo claimed that Apple iPhone 14 suppliers increased in numbers.
