In the next few months, Apple is expected to unveil new Apple Watches. The latest predictions show the upcoming Apple Watch Series 8 will likely feature a larger display.
Apple Watch Series 8 Display
According to tech analyst Ross Young, the 45mm will no longer be the larger model available as the tech giant plans to announce a bigger version, with 50mm or 1.99-inch diagonally.
This is not the first time Young said that the new lineup could come in three different display sizes.
As of now, it is not yet clear whether Apple will release a 41mm display, 45mm display, and 50mm display versions or whether it has something to do with the new extreme sports version rumored to be announced a couple of months for now.
MacRumors reported that analyst Jeff Pu also corroborated the report by saying Apple supplier Luxshare will be the only supplier for a high-end 2-inch Apple Watch model.

On July 23, Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported both Apple Watch Series 8 and a new edition would feature body-temperature detection. The Apple Watch SE 2 will not have this function, according to 9to5Mac.
The body-temperature feature will not give you a specific reading, like with a forehead or wrist thermometer, but it should not be able to tell if you have a fever or not. It could recommend talking to your doctor or using a thermometer to check if you are really under the weather.
Gurman also said that the other hardware changes would only be minor. As reported in early July, the Apple Watch Series 8 is rumored to feature the same S6 chip available on the Apple Watch Series 6, making it the first Apple Watch to have the same processor for three years now.
Also, Gurman heard internal chatter about updated displays in the new models, which he believes will get brighter and larger.
Apple Watch 8 could also follow the design language of flat-edged iPhones if it gets the upgrades that were rumored for the Series 7.
The expectations of a flat-sided Apple Watch grew when Jon Prosser shared renders in early 2022.
Apple Watch Series 8 Release Date
As reported by Tom's Guide, if the fans were to go to the previous Apple Watch launches, they can expect to see the next device in September.
With the Apple Watch Series 8 launching around the same time as iPhone 14, which will reportedly arrive on Sept. 13, it is worth waiting to see what the next-generation Apple Watch models have before getting a new Apple Watch.
However, there is no information available about the price of the Apple Watch Series 8. But the tech giant has maintained the same price structure for years, so fans can expect the new Apple Watch will match the price of the Apple Watch 7.
The Apple Watch 7 price starts at $399 for the 41mm model, with cellular connectivity. The Apple Watch Series 8 may cost around the same price or even around $599, considering it will have a larger display.
