The phenomenal basketball star and the titular characters of Rick & Morty are fighting against current characters like Batman and Shaggy from Scooby-Doo once they arrive.
LeBron James, Rick & Morty Are Joining 'MultiVersus'
As per the latest news story by IGN, the "MultiVersus" panel at the San Diego Comic-Con reveals that the pro NBA basketball player, LeBron James, is joining a bunch of fictional characters in MultiVersus by next month.
Although James is a real-life basketball icon, it is actually not the first time he has gotten along with some fictional figures. In fact, IGN notes that the NBA star first debuted his fictional character last year in 2021, thanks to Space Jam: A New Legacy.
Besides the iconic athlete, Rick and Morty are also joining the craze in the "Super Smash Bros-like" fighter game of Warner Bros.
The panel of "MultiVersus" discloses that Rick & Morty fans would not wait much longer as Morty Smith is arriving in the fighter game on August 9.
On the other hand, the titular protagonist of the animated series, Rick Sanchez, joins the list of playable characters later than Morty.
