Microsoft's Xbox is now the first gaming console in the world to receive integration with Discord's voice chat, which will help games to connect more with friends and other players online. Despite a specific title not having any voice chat features or functions, users may still connect and talk without typing on keyboards for this to happen.
Microsoft's Xbox Now Available with Discord's Voice Chat
According to Xbox's announcement via Twitter, gamers and Discord are "about to get closer" together, and it is because of the recent venture that brings the voice chat features to the console. The new feature is available for all, and it would help everyone get a chance to use its communications feature to connect with friends, family, and teammates.
Microsoft's Xbox Blog said that friends and communities are coming together in this new venture, and it would open up a new communications channel that will help everyone connect with teammates and such. Additionally, it would integrate some of Discord's features on Xbox, and it is the first console in the world to feature this for everyone.

Discord Voice Chat: Is It a Good Feature for Gaming?
Discord's Voice Chat is something that most gamers use for connecting with co-gamers or communities in and out of a game or experience, and it is a feature that is available for all without needing to pay for it. Discord is good for gaming, and some PC users let it run in the background and put their games on top.
Now, it is a feature where it will have full integration to the Xbox, and hopefully, it brings a streamlined experience with no bugs or hassles in its access.
Xbox and Discord: Microsoft's Venture
There was a proposed deal before between Microsoft and Discord regarding a sellout of the famous voice on IP and instant messaging application's entirety as a company. The deal was supposedly $10 billion for the acquisition, and it would transfer the famous communications company to the software giant from Redmond, but it did not push through.
The business acquisition was a done deal, as there are massive indications that it would continue to bring the companies what it wanted. Still, for several significant reasons from Discord, it was a no-deal for them. The first news started in March regarding this acquisition, and it was to close in April and complete what it initially talked about for its transfer to Xbox.
Sadly, that is not what the world got, but that did not close the book on Discord's feature on gaming consoles.
Now, a year later its failed acquisitions, Microsoft and Discord are bringing a feature for everyone that they would have gotten last year if the deal pushed through. Nevertheless, people will still experience gaming and communicating in different games without any hardships in doing so or setting up discord on another device while playing on the console.
