Not mere days following the curt exit of G2 Esports' CS:GO In-Game Leader (IGL), Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen, yet another valued team member may well be heading a similar path. According to a report published via 1pv.fr, Audric "JACKZ" Jug could potentially be eyeing alternative organizations as G2 Esports itself attempts to restructure the base foundation of its CS:GO roster.
JACKZ's departure would spell the end of an era over at G2 Esports, given his three long years of service to the org, boasting the longest time spent on the team currently. He underwent a small break period between the years of 2020 and 2021 due to being benched for three months, a time wherein he competed alongside a rag-tag group of French CS:GO players with no real organizational backing. They were known as the Double Poney.
In addition to being one of G2 Esports' longest-running members of the current CS:GO roster, JACKZ also serves as the team's last remaining French nationalist. G2 Esports originally boasted an all-French team before evolving over time into a more international group of CS:GO players. Thus, if the rumors of his exit are true, it heralds a rather blunt picture of the inner workings going on at G2 Esports as the firm attempts to right the ship with a double roster change.

While the report itself isn't foolproof, the CS:GO pro has proven to be somewhat vocal on his personal Twitter timeline. A Tweeted GIF published on July 9 showcases Batman pushing an empty swing in the rain, evidence enough of some bleak surroundings. What those may actually remain uncertain, much like the future CS:GO roster under G2 Esports, but his post may well have been in anticipation of his teammate's exit.
The report's debut comes on the heels of the departure of Aleksib, who served as the G2 Esports CS:GO roster's in-game leader. Aleksib announced via social media that he would not be participating with the organization any further, citing that he was granted permission to seek options elsewhere. This happened following Aleksib's absence and was also the team's head coach, Rémy "XTQZZZ" Quoniam, who was recently posited to be benched via a report from TalkEsport.
Despite wielding heavy hitters on its CS:GO roster, the Spanish esports organization could not fully grasp its potential amid the official season. G2 Esports' shining moment this past year was acquiring runners-up in the IEM Katowice 2022, proof alone of its limited reach in the face of true potential. Although Aleksib announced his departure and the rumor mill appears quite firm on JACKZ's decision, G2 Esports has yet to bench anyone on its CS:GO team officially. Additionally, JACKZ also retweeted G2 Esports not a mere day prior, inciting doubts in his esports trajectory.
