The Tesla Steam integration will soon arrive, as confirmed by none other than Elon Musk. He announced this in-car innovation after the Tesla Owners Silicon Valley club shared their experience with the Tesla Arcade.
The group said that their kids really love the in-car game service. Because of this, Elon Musk replied to the group's tweet.
"We're making progress with Steam integration. Demo probably next month," said the popular tech CEO via his official Twitter account.
As of writing, his tweet generated more than 26,000 likes, 1,200 retweets, and 200 quote tweets. In the comment section, some individuals asked about the exact date, but Musk hasn't shared any specific detail yet.
Tesla Steam Integration Confirmed by Elon Musk!
According to The Verge's latest report, the Tesla Steam integration demo is expected to happen around August. Of course, this will still depend on the final decision of Elon Musk.
But, some fans claimed that the demo will take place during the upcoming Tesla Annual Shareholder Meeting 2022, which is set to happen on Aug. 4.
This event will take place in Austin, Texas. Although there's a high chance that the speculations will come true, is still best to take their suggestions with a grain of salt.
As of writing, the Tesla Arcade already offers various titles, such as "Cuphead" and "Sonic the Hedgehog 1." Now, the in-car gaming service's library is expected to expand once Steam is integrated into the Tesla Arcade.
Tesla Video Game Team Austin Already Hinted
The latest tweet of Elon is not the first one that he made as a confirmation for the upcoming Tesla Steam integration. Electrek recently reported that the automaker already has its video game team in Seattle.
But, the EV maker also decided to form another team that will be based in Austin, Texas. Tesla explained that this new team is allegedly for the Steam integration on the company's in-car gaming service.
If you will check the location, the team is also located where the upcoming Tesla Shareholder Meeting will take place. This serves as another hint that Elon will demo the game innovation on Aug. 4.
Previously, Tesla Australia decided to remove the Mobile Connector from new EV orders.
On the other hand, the Tesla Giga Berlin is now the largest industrial employer in Germany.
