Nothing Phone 1, an upcoming Android smartphone by Nothing Technology, will be released on July 12.
The company's founder Carl Pei, has posted updates about the phone, making it the most-talked-about topic on several social media platforms.
Nothing Phone 1 Launch
According to 91 Mobiles, Pei has given a couple of interviews to keep Nothing Phone 1 in the news. So far, he has revealed the smartphone's design, features, and pricing.
Nothing Phone 1 will have the Glyph interface from all of its corners. The Android phone will carry several LED notification lights that work in symmetry and extend in all aspects at the back, which has a transparent body panel.
The LEDs flow through the smartphone's module down to the charging port to have a charging indicator. But there is more to the integration, and the rest will be revealed on July 12.
Nothing Phone 1's front section has a punch-hole design and a short chin to give you a massive screen estate. Nothing is also rumored to use a high refresh rate AMOLED display on the smartphone.
Nothing Phone 1 Hardware
The upcoming Android phone is powered by the Snapdragon 778+chipset. The phone will also come in 8GB and 12GB RAM versions for those who need more storage, according to TechAdvisor.
Users who wish to store several videos and pictures can select the 256GB storage, and the space is expandable. The Snapdragon SoC has proven to be reliable and power efficient.
The smartphone would have to make a compelling case if it is priced at around $376 in the market, and its hardware can compete with the other Android phones in the market.
Nothing Phone 1 Smartphone
Nothing has also talked about its software is different from the other Android phones in the market, along with its phone's design.
The Nothing Phone 1 operating software is supposedly going to take the users back to the early days of OxygenOS from OnePlus.
If the experience is anywhere, that is close to that. Nothing OS could also be a viable alternative among the other Chinese smartphone brands in the market.
Nothing Phone 1's Camera Quality
The smartphone has a rear panel, and the company has confirmed that it will have a dual rear camera setting.
If the company cuts down on the number of sensors, Nothing can improve the quality of the camera that consumers will be able to enjoy.
What Can Customers Expect?
Nothing Phone 1 was initially expected to be equipped with a battery unit of 45w wired charging. However, the smartphone is reportedly going to have a 33W instead.
But the smartphone gets wireless charging support, and it is a great addition to the mid-range segment.
However, Pei did not reveal how much speed will be supported in the wireless charging support mode.
Nothing Phone 1 global launch is scheduled for July 12, and the smartphone is also expected to debut in India on the same day, according to News18.
