Private streaming is usually disregarded by some people as they believe that hackers and other online attackers have no interest to breach streaming services and devices.
But, they actually are. In 2019, experts claimed that cybercriminals were targeting Netflix, Hulu, and other streaming services at an alarming rate.
Akamai Technologies, an American cybersecurity/cloud service company, confirmed this detail via their official "State of the Internet / Security: Credential Stuffing: Attacks and Economies."
Akamai's security researchers said that hackers are trying to breach streaming services and devices, with their attempts ranging between 133 million and 200 million times in 2019.
