The famous global satellite internet service, Starlink, recently got its FCC approval that allows it to use the connection to mount on moving vehicles as part of one of its features and applications. The "Portability" feature got massive recognition from people that like to be on the move, and now, they have full approval from the governing body for its use.
Starlink Gets FCC Approval for 'Portability' Feature Use
The Federal Communications Commission announced earlier today that it has already granted Starlink the full authority to use Starlink on moving vehicles via its Portability feature for the public's use. It is a feature that will come for RVs but is not limited to land vehicles, as it would also be for boats, aircraft, and other known transportation vessels worldwide.
The public will have the chance to get the feature from the famous satellite internet company, and it aims to deliver on Starlink's promise of fast internet for all. Potential customers that will have Portability on their cars are waiting for its feature to arrive, and now that it is here, Starlink's installation on vehicles will have no more obstacles to pass.

Is Starlink's 'Portability' Feature Worth It?
For now, Starlink's support page for the Portability feature says that it is currently not available for in-motion use, or else the warranty will be voided if doing so. The company is currently developing its technology to have it despite traveling at slow or high speeds, so users would have to wait until that moment.
Nevertheless, it provides fast internet for all, anywhere in the world, while in park.
Starlink's Satellite Internet
Starlink is currently one of the top global internet providers in the world, and it is one of the only companies offering its internet to reach outlying areas and locations inaccessible by terrestrial connections. However, its recent disputes talk about the interference it would have with DISH's 12GHz internet connection, with CEO Elon Musk calling it unethical.
The company under SpaceX promises all kinds of good things about the satellite internet, allowing the public to experience a new setup that does not need for them to rely on those available now. Starlink is currently one of the fastest connections in the world, allowing the public to enjoy it anywhere via its Portability feature.
It does not have to be for RV dwellers only, as it could also mount on cars, provided they are on a stop while using the internet to avoid its warranty breach.
Starlink introduced the Portability for moving vehicles a long time, but this is the only time it got its approval for the full use of the feature, and it aims to give the world a lot. It would require extra installation for current users now, and it may have an additional fee, but it sure would be worth it once they go on adventures in a remote area where cell tower signals could not reach.
