Crystal Dynamics, the developer behind "Marvel's Avengers," is finally revealing the first full look at The Mighty Thor, Jane Foster. Foster will be the 11th playable character for the "Marvel's Avengers" game.
Crystal Dynamics Introduces The Mighty Thor (Jane Foster) to the 'Marvel's Avengers' World
According to the story by Comic Book, the publication was previously clueless regarding how she would be playing in-game, but as of recent, they have finally been given the chance to see her in action.
Crystal Dynamics released a new War Table video wherein the studio provided a full breakdown of the 'Marvel's Avengers' new character, The Mighty Thor. As people would expect, the version of Foster of Thor controls in a similar way to the original Thor.
What Players Can Expect from the Addition of Jane Foster to the 'Marvel's Avengers' Game
Most of Foster's moves, however, are usually centered around the use of Mjolnir. She is also credited with a lot of abilities at her disposal which sees her letting loose lightning attacks on numerous enemies.
Foster is also capable of hurling the Mjolnir at enemies and boasts "a unique ability that lets her deal greater damage" whenever throwing the hammer. The interesting thing is that the damage she deals with is actually even greater compared to Thor himself.

A video of The Mighty Thor was uploaded to YouTube showing her side-by-side with Thor himself and a lot of lightning-based moves. The six-minute-long video shows how she battles enemies both in melee mode or by throwing Mjolnir.
As per Comic Book, The Mighty Thor fits in the "Marvel's Avengers" world when it comes canonically. Crystal Dynamics has found an interesting way to add her directly into the story.
Jane Became the Goddess of Thunder the Moment She Took Mjolnir from Thor
The developer detailed the character as "torn from an alternate timeline through a rift in space-time caused by Tachyon Anomalies. When it comes to her original timeline, Jane became the Goddess of Thunder the moment she took up the mantle from Thor, who decided to give up Mjolnir due to grief after the A-Day tragedy the moment Jane was diagnosed with cancer.
The Jane Foster version of Thor will reportedly be available to gamers on June 28 and will come with a substantial "Marvel's Avengers" update for the game. The new patch is expected to be available on all platforms for the game, including PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

Jane Foster's The Mighty Thor to Get a Mission Chain and Challenge Card but No Specialized Campaigns
According to an article by Super Hero Hype, although Jane will be getting a mission chain and challenge card, she won't be getting any specialized campaigns like Kate Bishop, Clint Barton, and Black Panther. She will, however, be getting lines of the Spider-Man mission chain that was "used in last year's exclusive update for PlayStation 4 and 5.
