Who wants to be playing a game with the same experience every time? No one, and that is why EA and Criterion games are allegedly bringing a new multiplayer experience for gamers of the famous racing game franchise, with the new title "Need for Speed: Unbound," coming soon for the world.
The reports regarding the new multiplayer experience in the new game are like the metaverse, where people can ride their cars and stroll around the locations on the map.
'Need for Speed: Unbound' New Multiplayer Experience
ComicBook Gaming said there are new rumors about the upcoming racing game that would continue the franchise from EA and Criterion, and it would be under the new title "Need for Speed: Unbound." The game may be featuring new cars and experiences, along with maps and new modes for people to race in, but that is not its most significant change to the game.
"Unbound" is set to deliver a new multiplayer experience for people to enjoy. It aims to give people a unique chance to ride around in their cars with friends and experience the nightlife car scene. The leak came from Tom Henderson (via Exputer), and the insider said that EA and Criterion focused on a new immersive experience in the multiplayer.

'NFS Unbound's Multiplayer is Like the Metaverse
Multiplayer experiences in the "Need for Speed" franchise were available before, but it focuses on bringing people into one match to compete against each other and ride like there is no tomorrow. However, EA and Criterion are set to make significant changes for "NFS Unbound," including anime-themed special effects and a somewhat metaverse for its multiplayer.
In the metaverse, people get to live their life the way they want and be the boss of their world while connecting with other users. "NFS Unbound" aims to do the same by connecting them with friends to drive around its maps with their beloved cars.
'Need for Speed' and EA's Release
Electronic Arts are in a somewhat ditch now, and it is because the company is aiming to bring its operations somewhere else, with many talks about a merger with massive companies emerging in the past weeks. One report talked about its meetings with Apple and Disney, offering the entertainment company and its titles for acquisition.
The company also recently ended its partnership with the FIFA league and its brand, effectively bringing news that it will cease to develop the famous soccer game that is long-running on its franchise. The many changes in EA made people fear what would happen next, especially to its games that were a part of regular releases up to the present.
"Need for Speed" is one of the world's longest-running racing franchises. It brings many famous vehicles that users may modify and create to their liking, expanding their experiences with a virtual title. While others use the game for inspiration for their project cars, others focus on it here; they may get to own and enjoy riding in it with the new multiplayer experience.
