NASA's Hubble Space telescope is no stranger to discovering strange and fascinating objects in the universe. The huge space observatory recently captured a "glittery" image of a galaxy that appears to be sparkling.
If you're in the mood to go stargazing, this particular photo will give you a dreamy feel for the galaxies. So far, this mesmerizing photo has captured the hearts of people all over social media.
NASA Hubble Space Telescope Spots Sparkling Galaxy
Over the past year, NASA's space telescope did not stop in unraveling the mysteries beyond millions of galaxies. In June 2021, it managed to snap a distant galaxy that seemed to have a black matter.
At the time, the so-called NGC 3254 was spotted by astronomers through a huge telescope. The team behind this discovery classified the galaxy under the Seyfert family.
Just recently, another amazing photo of a galaxy took Instagram by storm. According to WION, the space agency has taken a picture of a sparkling galaxy with the help of Hubble.
"A little glitter goes a long way...Millions of light-years, actually! In the middle of this picture is a sparkling galaxy, crisply captured by the @NASAHubble Space Telescope. You might notice, however, that there are quite a few stars that look much brighter than the stars contained within the galaxy. For example, there's a shining star at the center-actually, it's a part of our own galaxy, the Milky Way. The star looks more luminous because it's much closer to us," NASA's post reads on Instagram.
From the looks of this particular galaxy, it seems void of planetary bodies. However, these are overlapping galaxies with one another. In the image, there's a spiral type, and there's an elliptical galaxy.
The stars from afar look like nothing but specks of dust in a blank space. Additionally, the luminosity of the stars highlights the whole scenery. The glittering image of the galaxy has already garnered over one million views and 800,000 likes as of writing.

Hubble Witnesses Dead Star Eating Other Planetary Bodies
In a strange turn of events, the Hubble Space Telescope has witnessed a white dwarf star that was "cannibalizing" its own component. In a story from Space.com, the astronomers found that the death star was devouring the debris from its reaches.
This study could open portals to astronomy about the composition of the planets. Interestingly, it will help the scientists identify the real reason why the dead stars behave in such a way.
Previously, the space-based observatory has photographed "clashing galaxies" and ancient galaxies that glow like space candles.
