The latest release prediction from the analyst comes from his recent examination of the entire market of VR headsets in general.
Apple VR/AR Headset in January 2023?
9to5 Mac says that the supply chain analyst previously predicted that the iPhone maker is entering the mixed reality market sometime in 2022.
However, the rumored Apple device faces the reality of several issues with its software and hardware that has reportedly pushed back its much-awaited debut.
But this time, it appears that the iPhone maker is on track with the release of its rumored mixed reality headset.
The supply chain analyst sees that the whole AR headset industry is about to change. It comes even as the owner of Facebook, Mete, has started to beat a retreat with its investments in its VR headset.
Kuo also notes that "the vast potential demand in the Chinese market and Apple AR/MR, which will likely release in January 2023, will also favor the continued rapid growth of the headset sector."
