'League of Legends' Gangplank Rework 2022 Hinted by Riot Games! Possible Release Date and More

One of these is Gangplank. His latest change, a mini rework, was launched way back in "League of Legends" Patch 11.17.

Because Riot Games hasn't really made huge enhancements for GP, the Summoner's Rift fans are asking the game developer to launch a major rework for the fighter hero.

Now, it seems like there will be one soon. Here is the possible release date of the new Gangplank rework and other major details.

'League of Legends' Gangplank Rework 2022

According to RealSport101's latest report, Gangplank is still one of the top laners in the Summoner's Rift.

However, unlike other heroes, GP can either carry the whole team or bring them down, especially if the player is not familiar with how he really works; there's no in-between.

Now, Riot Games said that the unchanged abilities of Gangplank are affecting the hero's win rate. To solve this problem, Matt Leung-Harrison, one of the lead designers of "League of Legends," shared something exciting.

He said that there will be a GP rework that might arrive in the upcoming "League of Legends" Patch 12.13.

"GP is intending to ship 12.13. We think we have a direction but want to take some additional time to validate," said Leung-Harrison.

Possible Gangplank Rework Release Date

As of writing, Riot Games hasn't announced the exact skill changes that Gangplank will receive in his next rework. On the other hand, it is also unknown if the visual design of GP will be updated.

When it comes to the release date, since Leung-Harrison mentioned "LoL" Patch 12.13, there's a high chance that the new version of the top laner will be launched this coming July.

But, the exact release date is not yet confirmed as well. GP is not the only character that is expected to receive a rework. Matt also claimed that Riot Games is testing some changes for Master Yi.

Meanwhile, "League of Legends" Aurelion Sol is expected to be the first hero to receive a complete gameplay kit update.

On the other hand, "League of Legends" Bel'Veth finally arrived in the Summoner's Rift.
