A new Tesla Cybertruck prototype was spotted at Moss Landing, California. Reports stated that the updated electric pickup truck of the giant EV maker appeared during the latest Tesla Megapack launch event.
Back in April, the Tesla Megapack project for Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) became operational. The giant automaker said that its Megapack with 730MWh capacity is expected to enhance the overall reliability of California's energy supply.
Although it's been almost two months, PG&E's commissioning ceremony was still conducted on June 6. During this event, the new Tesla Cybertruck prototype appeared.
New Tesla Cybertruck Prototype Spotted!
According to Electrek's latest report, the new Tesla Cybertruck prototype features an updated windshield wiper. The new wiper version is smaller compared to the original one.
Recently, Musk announced that the bigger windshield wiper seen in other Cybertruck prototypes would not actually be used in production.
This means that there's a high chance that the one spotted in the new electric pickup truck model will be the official windshield wiper.
On the other hand, the leaked videos showed that there would also be a center console inside the Tesla Cybertruck. If you want to see the actual new look of the most-awaited electric pickup truck, you can watch the videos below.
Cybertruck as Tesla's Best Product?
For the past few years, Tesla has been launching new techs, such as more advanced EV models, electric car batteries, and other eco-friendly innovations.
But, Elon Musk claimed that Cybertruck is still the best product that the automaker developed. He shared this statement after Pranay Pathole, a software developer for Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), posted a video of the popular electric pickup truck.
"It will be our best product ever imo," said the billionaire via his official Twitter reply.
As of writing, people are still waiting for the production of Tesla Cybetruck units, which is expected to start around 2023.
In January, the original Tesla Cybertruck production date was deleted from the automaker's website.
After that, rumors about the Tesla Cybertruck delay appeared on the internet.
