Apple's Safari reached a new milestone for its services, and it is because the web browser got a massive 1 billion userbase, with many people using the service for their needs. However, Safari's numbers are not enough to beat that of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge, as these are the top two internet browsers in the current landscape.
Apple Safari Reaches 1 Billion Users in its Web Browser
You would not reach 1 billion subscribers or users if your service is terrible or the only choice for one's device, and this is the case with Apple's Safari web browser that grew to massive proportions. According to a report by Atlas VPN, Safari now has 1,006,232,879 users in its browser that utilizes the software for their needs and access.
Safari's new achievement is significant for the browser as it is considered one niche internet hub that people only use for Apple devices and those that have it pre-installed on their devices. However, that is not the case as some users in the Windows platform have Safari on their devices, preferring it over Edge, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, and other services out there.
Apple's Safari has 19.16 percent of all the internet users around the globe.
Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge Reigns Supreme
However, Safari's numbers are not enough to beat that of industry rivals, including the Google Chrome web browser and the Microsoft Edge. Chrome has more than three billion users on its platform, while Microsoft Edge trails behind with 2 billion, being the top 2 web browsers globally, respectively.
What is important here is that Apple's Safari crossed a billion thresholds and now ranks third among all browsers.
Apple Safari and its Features
Apple has its version of a web browser, and users know it to be Safari, a service that searches for everything a person needs. Like any other web browser that helps computers and smartphones browse the internet for their needs, it is a famous service for all as it is meant for the iOs and macOS, under the Apple landscape.
One of the main focuses of Safari is its security features that help the public avoid tracking and their data collected from their devices and given to different third-party websites that ask for it in the present. It also asks for data tracking, and it allows people to choose the prompt and prevent trackers from looking into one's browsing experience.
Some people do not want to install new applications on their devices and computer, and they resort to certain apps that are already built into their devices for their use. However, some prefer web browsers that bring them the most they want in one, with an interface that they trust, something Apple boasts about with the Safari.
