After news of Google's Pixel Watch packing a four-year-old processor, the Exynos 9110, fans might not have been exactly happy. New reports, however, are suggesting that the device will come with a co-processor to put an end to worries regarding its performance.
Pixel Watch to Come Equipped with Samsung's Exynos 9110 Chip
According to the story by Android Headlines, new reports are starting to surface regarding a co-processor being added to the Pixel Watch. The co-processor will help the watch when it comes to certain low-power functions.
Sometime earlier in May, the Pixel Watch was announced to come out with the Exynos 9110 chip from Samsung, as reported by 9to5Google. The chip was reportedly introduced with Samsung's original Galaxy Watch back in 2018.
Co-Processor Could Help Pixel Watch have Better Performance
Although not a lot of people were happy with Google's decision to add four-year-old chips to their in-house wearables, news of a co-processor has also started to spread. The co-processor will reportedly help ease the worries of potential buyers, especially when it comes to the Pixel Watch's performance.
As per Android Headlines, low-power tasks will be run on the co-processor and not the power-hungry Exynos 9110 chip. On top of the co-processor, the Google Pixel Watch is also expected to have more RAM compared to other watches on the market.
Google's Watch to Come with More RAM than Other Wearables
Unlike other smartwatches on the market, the Google Pixel Watch comes with more RAM making it capable of running tasks more efficiently. The co-processor will also help take a number of tasks away from the Exynos 9110 chip, potentially resulting in a better performance.
The Pixel Watch will be equipped with the new Wear OS, making it perform better and also have a more efficient battery. With a more efficient battery, the watch could run longer than usual since tasks won't take up much of its battery life.

Pixel Watch to be Packed with 32GB Worth of RAM
Android Headlines noted that when Google said they would be coming out with a watch with better performance and battery efficiency, with the Exynos 9110, it was quite hard to picture out. The company, however, did not share any specs during the Google I/O, leaving most to the imagination.
The Pixel Watch is expected to be packed with 32GB of storage, as noted by GSM Arena, which is quite large compared to other Wear OS watches on the market. The publication, however, notes that Google's watch will "slightly surpass" the Galaxy Watch4 when it comes to RAM.
The Galaxy Watch4 carries 1.5GB worth of RAM, and for the new Pixel Watch to "slightly surpass" it could mean anything. Even GSM Arena did not give an estimate of what the new RAM could be like for Apple's new watch.
