But that is not what is happening with the 11th installment of the famous action role-playing game (RPG) title from Square Enix, and the announcement came from its director, Yoji Fujito.
'Final Fantasy XI' Is Not Stopping Support for Game
According to a translation by Silicon Era on game director Yoji Fujito, "Final Fantasy XI" is here to stay and the game will continue its support for gamers that focus on the title. Fujito said that it would not shut down anytime soon, so for its remaining time, gamers have a chance to enjoy the title and continue their careers in it.
However, that does not mean that it would continue forever, as it would not be the case for the title.
"Final Fantasy XI" recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and it focuses on the many offers by the game that Square Enix and its team released for more than two decades already. The MMORPG is bringing more to the public apart from its news that it will remain in the company's lineup, as there is a promise of new content to follow.
'Final Fantasy XI' Lives On the Gaming World
Square Enix's "Final Fantasy XI" is living on and continuing its support for the gaming world, and it will help fans to enjoy more of what the game has to offer, especially with the MMORPG title. An upcoming Prime Weapon is coming to the game, and Director Fujito expanded on ways to obtain the item in the coming time with its release.
'Final Fantasy' and its Massive Franchise
The early years of gaming saw a massive franchise take flight, and it connected many gamers globally to take part and experience the immersive world like no other. Titles like "Final Fantasy," "World of Warcraft," "Deus Ex," "Diablo," and other titles gave the public many of its offers and experience the franchise of these titles until the modern day.
The fame of "Final Fantasy" does not stop there, as many gamers wish for a modern remake of its previous games, with titles like "Final Fantasy VII" seeing its contemporary take to fit modern displays. Square Enix may have sold some of its studios and game rights to Embracer Group, but "Final Fantasy" is here to stay with them.
