Sony is set to unveil new wireless ANC earbuds that could be the smallest and lightest today. The company's follow-up to the LinkBuds, the LinkBuds S.
Sony LinkBuds S is set to weigh just 4.8 grams each-and it comes with ANC, unlike the previous LinkBuds released this year. Aside from the ANC of the latest wireless earbuds, it is expected that it will feature high-res audio and 5mm drivers with slightly longer battery life.
Users can get up to 20 hours of listening with the LinkBuds S with the charging case, while up to six hours of listening time without the case.
Loaded With Awesome Features
According to WinFuture, the earbuds may support Sony's speak-to-chat mode that allows users to pause audio automatically when they start talking. It could also come with adaptive sound control that switches between an ambient sound mode that will let users hear the world around them.

The Sony LinkBuds S comes with the IPX4 water resistance rating, which makes sweat and water splash not a problem at all. It will also have Bluetooth 5.2 support and Adaptive Sound Control functional for the optimal listening experience that can automatically adjust the surroundings.
Sony will allegedly market the LinkBuds S as the smallest and lightest earbuds that support ANC and High-Res Audio.

Aside from the new earbuds, Sony is also set to announce a new hardware launch event based on last week's WH-1000XM5 announcement.
Vision-S is also being tested on public roads, while the Airpeak S1, their professional drone, is also the world's smallest drone that can be equipped with a full-size mirrorless Alpha camera.
These new releases align with the company's purpose to "fill the world with emotion, through the power of creativity and technology. This is based on their corporate direction of "getting closer to people."
