There are multiple leaks in the gaming world and all of them are converging on one game, "Silent Hill" from Konami, with reports claiming that the title will soon release its next installment for all. However, it is not only a single game that is coming, but four new titles from the famous horror franchise from the company, with screenshot leaks of the upcoming release.
'Silent Hill' Leaks: Konami is Developing Four New Games
According to an online leaker called "Aesthetic Gamer," there are four released screenshots regarding the new game that were taken down by its original poster (OP) that represents the game. No other details were revealed by the leaker, but they claim that it is all about the upcoming title of the famous horror franchise.
They also said that "Silent Hill" is an active franchise and not one to stop its production despite the almost ten years since its last regular release under the series name. The leaker reiterated that "Silent Hill" and Konami are only keeping the production behind the scenes, and are working on its next game in secret.
When is 'Silent Hill's Next Release Coming?
Aesthetic Gamer said that fans should leave the official reports to its developers, as they are already looking forward to the company's next announcement regarding the release. For now, the world will have to wait on Konami and others involved in the project for the game's upcoming availability, especially for the sequel title leaked initially.
'Silent Hill's Global Franchise
Konami has been silent for some time, and there are no new games from the company in the past years to continue the many franchises it holds in its library for the next-generation consoles. However, there was once a report regarding the upcoming releases of the company, including its "Metal Gear," "Castlevania," and "Silent Hill" franchises.
However, there are many indications that the "Silent Hill" series is developing to release a new title, especially since its last release was with the "P.T." title last 2014. Its main title series' last release was out in 2012, with Konami's "Silent Hill: Book of Memories" that last released on the PS VITA platform, and the "Silent Hill Collection HD."
Whether or not Hideo Kojima joins the production or it will all be under Konami's team, a leak regarding the new "Silent Hill" game is strong. Not to mention that reports are now claiming that there would be multiple titles that the game will develop for the upcoming franchise, especially now that it is highly speculated by fans and enthusiasts.
