According to a report by iLounge on Monday, May 16, a select number of participants for the WWDC 2022 have been chosen already thanks to the email that Apple sent to them recently.
With that in mind, they could now envision what would be the possible topic for the event at Apple Park. They will also get to know more about the new Developer Center in the same location.
The source notes that anyone can go to the said place since there's no charge for attendance. For those people who want to view WWDC 2022 online, you can search various live streaming channels on the internet.

Apple Macs Now in Short Supply?
Ahead of the scheduled WWDC 2022, Apple appears to be preparing for the release of its product. Surely, this is a clear sign that something new is about to be unveiled soon.
According to Mac World, some developers are now searching for potential testing machines where they could put the macOS beta into work.
Although it's quite a long wait for them, it's understandable since the Cupertino giant has been struggling to store the stocks for the said model.
For many months, many MacBook Pros have been delayed. We could say the same thing for the Mac Studio (M1 Ultra.
Moreover, it seems that the only Mac models that did not come short when it comes to stocks are the old ones including the M1 variant, Mac Mini, MacBook Air, and even the 24-inch iMac. Most of them are reportedly ready for shipping if you need them now.
iPhone 11 Discontinuity
Meanwhile, a report from Tech Times suggests that the production of the iPhone 11 is now on the verge of being discontinued. The source says that there are reports which denote that Pro models are usually cut off earlier compared to the numbered variants.
It should be noted that there's a three-year pattern before Apple arrives at this decision. For instance, the iPhone 7 production was halted back in 2019. It was released in 2016.
Another example is the iPhone 8 which Apple released in 2017. Three years later in 2020, the production of this smartphone had been stopped.
There might be some problems that contribute to this decision. As of the moment, several companies have been dealing with supply chain issues. Apple is not exempted from this problem.
