Of course, one of their main goals is to replace all traditional vehicles with new zero-emission models. So far, many drivers are now purchasing Tesla EVs.

This is because of the efficient enhancements released by the automaker, such as the advanced FSD (Full Self-Driving) feature, additional driving range, and other upgrades.

According to ScreenRant's latest report, traditional vehicles face various issues. Aside from the increasing criticisms they receive from environmental groups and experts, gas-based cars are also having problems with fuel hikes.

On the other hand, the microchip shortage also affects traditional car production. Most modern vehicle models rely on next-gen processors.

Since SoC scarcity is still happening, traditional giant automakers are having a hard time meeting the demands of their consumers. Meanwhile, Tesla's EV production is becoming better and better.

Since the cars shipped by the EV developer generate on electric cells, their average CO2 emission is only 30 tons per year.

This is quite low compared to the average 70-ton carbon emissions generated by traditional vehicles yearly.

More Tesla EV Units are Coming

Since demands for Tesla electric car models are increasing, the automaker is ramping up its production and development efforts.

Reuters reported that Tesla is now exporting its first Shanghai-manufactured vehicles after the Giga Shanghai reopened.

This is a big deal since Tesla's Gigafactory in the Asian country experienced several issues due to lockdowns implemented by the government.

On May 13, Tesla announced that it started shipping around 4,000 vehicles. Now, the automaker is planning to export more than 300,000 Shanghai-based EVs before 2022 ends.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk said that Tesla's global economic expansion is possible through the use of clean energy.

On the other hand, Tesla recently asked for faster Panasonic 4680 EV battery productions.
