Twitter's Privacy Policy Launches

As per a news story by Social Media Today, the giant social media platform, Twitter, is already facing its final days before its apparent new owner, Elon Musk, takes over.

One of the last changes that Twitter is implementing, among numerous updates before its new billionaire owner arrives, is an updated privacy policy.

The updated privacy policy of the social networking service also comes with a redesign of the website that explains it.

On top of the new look, the folks at Twitter must have thought that the fancy new interface is not enough to explain the update to its users. Thus, the social media giant introduced its first-ever web game.

To be clear about it, Twitter is not venturing into the lucrative world of gaming. It is still true to its original form - a social media platform, which some aptly refer to as a microblogging service.

It is to note that it introduced its interactive web game solely to make it easier for its users to understand all the privacy stuff that the app offers. It might be a complicated topic for some and boring for most folks out there.

Twitter's New Privacy Policy Simplified

Twitter actually believes that understanding privacy policies should not require someone to have a law degree or something to that extent.

As such, the social media firm said that it used a "clear language," ditching all of those uninteresting legal jargon.

The soon-to-be Musk-led social media further said that it has rewritten its privacy policy "to try and make it useful."

Twitter also stated that its privacy policy site carried a new look. Social Media Today highlighted that the redesign brought in three sections, helping it look more organized and easier to scan through.

Twitter's Data Dash Game

Apart from the less "legalese" writing and site redesign, Twitter went the extra mile and even developed a game for its updated policy.

The interactive education games are there to explain the various parts of its new policy through 2D animation.

According to a recent report by Gizmodo, the Twitter game sure looks "adorable," but it is annoyingly buggy as well.

But then again, it is only there to explain the privacy policy of Twitter - not a full-blown gaming title to entertain users.
