The "Roblox" massive outage this May 2022 is affecting thousands of gamers across the globe. The server issues began around 2:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday, May 4.
Because the system problem is still ongoing, many gamers are disappointed with the game developers, especially since the fix's arrival date is still uncertain.
Various players even claim that the servers are hacked. But, Roblox Corporation, the game publisher of the block-building title, clarified that it is an issue on their end.
'Roblox' Outage May 2022: Servers NOT Hacked
According to Dual Shockers' latest report, the issue that "Roblox" fans experience is not caused by hackers or other cybercriminals.
"Hi everyone, we are aware that some of you are having issues accessing Roblox," said Roblox Corporation via its official Twitter announcement.
The video game company added that its team is already working on the server issue. But, they did not confirm when the game's system will be fixed.
This is why they are asking for your patience on the matter. But, some players are certainly not happy with the server problems.
One of them shared that he moved to "Minecraft" since it is a better game with fewer server downtimes.
But, another gamer defended "Roblox," saying that the block-building titles should not be compared since they are equally high-quality video games.
'Roblox' Server Issues
DownDetector reported that the peak of the latest "Roblox" outage happened at 7:02 a.m. EST on May 4. More than 1,300 gamers complained about the server problems they experienced.
When it comes to the issues, around 47% of the affected "Roblox" gamers suffered from website issues. On the other hand, 36% experienced server connections problems, and 17% had in-game problems.
