If you've accidentally lost your Apple AirPods, there is an easy way for you to find them again.
Whether you want to make sure that your AirPods are near the last place you've left them or accidentally dropped them under your coach, there is an easy way to locate them.
Finding Your Lost Apple AirPods
If you have no idea where you left your Apple AirPods, including the case, open the Find My app on your iPhone and choose the "Devices" tab on the bottom.
Next, choose your "AirPods," and your iPhone will show you the last known location where they connected to your phone on the map on the screen.
This will let you know if you accidentally left them at home, at work, or if they are still around the area where you have last seen them, according to CNBC.

Finding Your Apple AirPods Without an iPhone
If you do not have your iPhone with you and you need to look for your AirPods, go to www.icloud.com from a computer browser. Next, log in with your Apple ID and select "Find iPhone."
Choose your Apple AirPods from the drop-down menu that says "All Devices" at the top right corner of the screen.
Make your Apple AirPods Ring if Nearby
If you have done the steps above and already know where your AirPods are, you can use the app to make them ring to know the exact location. This will work whether or not you have the case, and even if you've lost only one bud, according to Mashable.
First, open the Find My app on your iPhone and choose the "Devices" tab at the bottom of the screen. Next, select "AirPods" and tap "Play Sound."
Your AirPods will start chirping, so follow the sound until you find them.
Finding Offline Apple AirPods
If your AirPods are offline or dead, use the Find My app. The Find My app can provide a location that is accurate within 20 meters via GPS, and it's more accurate when using Bluetooth data, according to GoodHomeAutomation.
Find My app works best when you are looking for your AirPods separately. That is, one or both buds has gone missing outside of the case.
You can still find your buds inside their charging case with the Find My app, but only if the app still remembers where they were the last time that you've used them.
Also, the Find My app is only used for buds that are not dead. When the buds are charged and within range, the Find My app lets you play a sound so you can find your buds easily.
Cost of Replacing Apple AirPods
If you've done all of the steps, but you still can't find your AirPods, don't worry. You can still get a replacement from Apple. If you bought AppleCare+ coverage with your AirPods which cost around $29, you could get new AirPods for $29 and a replacement case for only $29.
If you did not purchase AppleCare+ you would pay $89 for each AirPods Pro earbud and $89 for a replacement AirPods Pro case.
For regular AirPods, it costs $69 to replace each missing bud and $59 for a replacement charging case, or $69 if you want a replacement wireless charging case.
