A group of Apple employees is urging the Cupertino giant to consider remote work as an option aside from the return-to-office (RTO) setup.
The company previously announced that all staff will be required to work on-site for at least three days per week. The implementation is set to begin on May 23 as part of the changes in the corporate space.
Apple Together Wants More Work Flexibility
Earlier in April, Apple said that it will allow the workers to engage in a hybrid corporate setup. At the time, they work in the office only once per week.
However, it seems that some employees need more time for this adjustment. The so-called "Apple Together" group was formed by the company employees who want to push the firm's leadership toward the new RTO format.
On Friday, Apr. 30, the group penned a letter to the company's executive team. The letter contains thoughts of some employees regarding the office-bound work, particularly about the improved flexibility.
Per the tweet from The Verge's Zoe Schiffer, Apple is currently sticking to its RTO plan. In addition, the internal note suggests that the iPhone maker is urging its workers to "show their steam spirit" by joining a weekly photo challenge.
However, it appears that it does not sound good for every staff member. The tweet recalls that one worker described it as "severance vibes."

Why Apple Together Pushes Remote Work
According to a report by 9to5Mac, the Apple employees suggested that the company should add remote work as a viable option for the new setup.
"We tell all of our customers how great our products are for remote work, yet, we ourselves, cannot use them to work remotely? How can we expect our customers to take that seriously? How can we understand what problems of remote work need solving in our products if we don't live it?" the letter reads.
Furthermore, the organization of the workers stood against the hassle-full commuting. They pointed out that this only wastes their time and even their "mental and physical resources."
The letter also includes that Apple should allow the employees to decide how they work best for the company. By that, they meant that a one-size-fits-all solution is non-existent.
In other news, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has become even richer, according to the latest report from Tech Times on Thursday, Apr. 28.
Following his controversial billion-dollar revenue drop back in February, it seems that the tech boss is now reaping what he sows. At that time, he highlighted how important short-video products are on the platform.
Going back to the recent report, Zuckerberg has already generated nearly $11 billion in just a single day. That's not the only thing that happened since the shares of the company skyrocketed to 17% as well.
To give you an idea of how rich he is, Zuckerberg can actually give $100 to each living person in the world. In doing so, he will still have half of his net worth.
