Elon Musk teases a new venture for The Boring Company, and it is a project called "Hyperloop," which brings an intercity tunnel initiative that will help solve traffic problems. It will help get people from one city to another to avoid ground traffic situations.
According to its CEO, the Hyperloop also promises a tunnel system that will survive the worst of natural calamities like hurricanes.
Elon Musk Teases 'Hyperloop' for The Boring Company's Tunnel
Elon Musk went to Twitter today and chose to tease a new venture for one of his many companies, with The Boring Co.'s new Hyperloop, which he announced on social media. The Hyperloop is from a "known physics standpoint" that will focus on an intercity tunnel system to bring a person from one place to another in the fastest possible way through cars.
Musk said that the Hyperloop is the fastest way of traveling on distances less than ~2,000 miles, and farther than that would be the Starship's focus and forte. The CEO teased this when he replied to some of the cities in the world with the worst traffic cases, with several locations in the United States.
One of the suggestions the CEO replied to is a Hyperloop tunnel from Baton Rouge to New Orleans, Louisiana.
Hyperloop Can Withstand Hurricanes, Intercity Travels
Its CEO also added that it is immune to surface weather conditions, mainly underground ventures like tunnels and subways like The Boring Co.'s projects. He affirmed that tunnels like it would not feel a thing even during hurricane situations when traveling from one place to another.
A user said that tunnels like those should also focus on the way to evacuate from one weather-struck city to a safe haven.
The Boring Co.'s Traffic Solution
The Boring Company provided the world's first tunnel system that will bring an ultra-fast system that will employ electric vehicles underneath Las Vegas as its first project for its ventures. It will operate Tesla's electric cars that use the Autopilot or Full Self-Driving features to drive them around the tunnel system for an efficient transportation method.
Instead of creating electric trains that will need railings and other requirements, the company ingeniously uses its sister company's EVs, giving them another purpose below roads. One of the following projects of The Boring Co. is a tunnel system in Miami's Fort Lauderdale, showing the location a chance to avoid traffic even in its tourist spots.
Now, there is a new venture from the company that will focus on giving another solution to traffic, and its target cities focus on those suffering from the worst situations in the world. There is no saying which city would be The Boring Company's next project, but Musk's latest tweet focuses on the Hyperloop that will solve intercity travel and traffic.
