Neuralink as a morbid obesity solution is possible, experts believed. Recently, Elon Musk, the billionaire behind this new brain chip tech, shared this idea of his during a TED talk with Chris Anderson.
The famous tech CEO claimed that his brain tech could solve spinal injuries, as well as other dangerous health complications.
These include morbid obesity. At first, many experts doubt the ability of Neuralink since it still needs further human trials.
But, some health researchers now agree with Elon Musk, saying that Neuralink is an efficient solution to prevent morbid obesity.
Neuralink as Morbid Obesity Solution Possible?
According to Teslarati's latest report, Neuralink is still under development.

However, many experts claim that once the chip is completed, Elon Musk's claims will be possible, including a solution for morbid obesity.
One of the experts agreeing with the billionaire is Andrew Jackson, a Newcastle University professor.
"I don't think it is any more implausible than other claims for the potential of neurotechnology," said Professor Jackson.
He added that Neuralink is less invasive compared to existing morbid obesity cures. For the past few years, various methods have been used to prevent extreme obesity.
These include conducting procedures to change the shape of obese patients' digestive tracts.
Now, various experts claim that Neuralink is far better compared to the current obesity solutions. When it comes to function, the advanced brain chip can be used to stimulate brain activity.
This means that Neuralink can be used to control the part of the brain that drives the appetite of people. If you want to see more details on how this brain tech can help prevent morbid obesity, you can visit this link.
Other Uses of Neuralink
Aside from being an obesity solution, CNBC reported that the new Neuralink tech could also allow people to download their brains into robots.
This means that your memory can be transferred to a machine using the brain chip. The idea of transferring your consciousness to a machine is no longer new.
Various sci-fi movies already show this scenario. However, no technology was really able to achieve it. Now, Neuralink is expected to be the first innovation to transfer human memories into robots.
Recently, Elon Musk's Neuralink tech was being compared to the technologies featured in the popular "Black Mirror" series.
On the other hand, Neuralink's human subjects are expected to arrive since Musk was looking for a clinical trial director.
