Is the EU planning to force Apple to conduct major changes in its apps, as well as other services? Well, this is what a newly leaked document shows.
The leaked file shows a new European Union Digital Markets Act (DMA). Experts claimed that this new law would make Apple change its manages its applications and other products.
They added that the new DMA would specifically focus on the gatekeeping activities of tech firms, especially the giant iPhone maker.
EU To Force Apple to Make Major Changes on Apps, Other Services?
According to MacRumors' latest report, the new DMA of the European Union plans to force Apple to make drastic adjustments to how it handles the official Apple App Store, Siri, as well as Siri, one of the popular third-party iOS browsers.

One of the things that the new law wants from Apple is allowing app installations from third-party app stores. Another major change that the leaked DMA requires is enabling app developers to have more in-application payment options.
Aside from these two major changes, the new Digital Markets Act also plans to prevent companies from requiring app developers to use a particular search engine.
The leaked document claims that the EU will force Apple to offer more virtual assistants options aside from Siri when it comes to virtual assistants.

Other EU's Demands From Apple
Tech Radar reported that the European Union wants Apple to integrate the USB-C tech into its iPhones, iPads, and other gadgets.
The EU explained that doing this can lessen the electronic waste of the tech giant manufacturer.
"With half a billion chargers for portable devices shipped in Europe each year, generating 11,000 to 13,000 tonnes of e-waste," said MEP (Member of the European Parliament) Alex Agius Saliba.
He added that if mobile devices and other gadgets rely on only one charger, then electronic waste will be greatly reduced.
Saliba added that the integration of USB-C will greatly help consumers and the tech manufacturers since the cost of chargers will also be lessened.
Meanwhile, leaked Apple iPhone 14 renders show a pill face camera, as well as a larger rear cam sensor.
On the other hand, another Apple lawsuit will be filed by a Russian law firm because of alleged intentional moral damage.
