According to a report by 9to5Mac on Thursday, Apr. 14, Opera has now expanded its Crypto Browser Project to the iOS platform. The company has invested to create a crypt-focused browser for investors and blockchain enthusiasts.

Since it is becoming popular, especially with the arrival of Web3 blockchain technology, more users have been searching for a worthwhile app that will help them in their crypto journey.

"The interest in Web3 is continuing to grow. The Opera Crypto Browser Project was built to simplify the Web3 user experience that has often been bewildering for mainstream users. Opera believes Web3 has to be easy to use in order to reach its full potential and mass adoption," Opera's EVP Mobile Jorgen Arnesen said in a statement.

So far, the Crypto Browser has previously been rolled out on Android and desktops. The latest arrival of this feature on iOS is part of the expansion that Opera plans for many users.

Aside from this web browser, the company will also bring a crypto wallet that serves several crypto ecosystems including Celo, Polygon, and Ethereum. For future plans, Opera could incorporate more blockchain developments on its roadmap.

Apart from accessing the Web3-based NFTs (non-fungible tokens), the Crypto Browser can also allow the users to do all crypto-based activities such as buying, selling, and trading tokens.

To prevent "cryptojacking" incidents, Opera brings a new layer of crypto-mining protection for a safe blockchain investment for the people. This feature will also avoid the scripts from affecting the performance of your Apple device when you access the web browser.
